What does a successful search look like?
If you would like to test Where there is a Will to see what a successful search for a Will
or any other lodged document looks like, you are invited to do a search on the following
(fictitious) name:
| Family name | Jan |
| First name | Happy |
| Date of Birth | 14/02/1954 |
If you then go to the Search for a Will' page and provide the information requested – 'The Enquirer' (your own details, which will be logged); 'The Lodger' (the person you are searching, as above); and the random security code - after clicking on the SEARCH icon, the following details will appear:

To view the details of each item, click on the respective VIEW button.
For the Will, the following will be displayed:

For the Power of Attorney, the following will be displayed:

You can then print the page so you have a hard copy of the information provided.
In the case of the Will example you can then go to the 'Useful Links' site and click on Safe & Secure Solicitors to bring up their website address, allowing you to email them and avoiding the effort of locating their address and correct contact person.
As you can see, it is simple and no fuss and that means real peace of mind.
It is worth noting that in this example, Happy Jan could have recorded where a duplicate copy of her Will was located for no extra cost, as this was included in the $25 fee, provided she lodged this on the site as an individual and did not come via Safe & Secure Solicitors (Organisation customer) as a client of theirs.
